Alta Med Employee Behavior and Reckless Driving on Cell Phone!

There is a serious problem in California and all over the country with lack of responsibility to driving, especially driving with a cell phone in your hand. Everyday I see people on their phone, talking, texting and looking at their phone constantly when driving. People just don't give a shit at all. People are inconsiderate, lack consciousness, are selfish, reckless asswads when driving, but after this mornings event in the parking lot of Alta Med in West Covina with an employee who zoomed behind me when I was trying to park, I am now going public exposing all three parties. Two women who work for Alta Med with very manipulating behaviors of coming at me two against one situation seemed to be more concerned of how I spoke to this reckless employee than his very irresponsible behavior and reckless driving in the parking lot when on his cell phone.

This morning around 7:50 I was trying to back in to a parking slot at Alta Med in West Covina which was empty except for two cars. It only took a few minutes for employees to zoom into the parking lot fast to get to work and this young guy who works on the 2nd floor with curly dark hair and glasses sits behind a computer at the front desk thought it was okay to be reckless and speed in the parking lot just as I was trying to back in to the space, I almost hit him because he is not paying attention and doesn't care. I went to the back where he had parked his black Camry and confronted him but he wasn't concerned. He was consumed with his cell phone and his excuse was, "I've been here for 10 minutes" because he thought that lame excuse would dismiss my confrontation with him. It didn't. I chewed him out about paying attention when driving into the parking lot and to slow down I almost hit him since he dismissed I was trying to park and it ONLY TAKES A SECOND FOR SOMETHING TO HAPPEN. He didn't care and continued looking at his phone the entire time I am speaking to him. This is what really pissed me off.

Then I yelled at him to look at me and put his phone down when I am talking to him, he didn't care. I told him maybe you will care when you get fired and lose your job. Soon after I went into the facility and made a complaint, he saw me and quickly disappeared like a bitch. This is when it gets interesting with these two women who work in admin for Alta Med and their manipulating behaviors and how they approached me.

One woman was named Liz and was Mexican and the other was a black woman never got her name because she never bothered to introduce her self. The intention was to gang up on me as they did in a very discreet way. At this point both of them can say their own personal version and the other one will back her up. It's a good thing I tape recorded the conversation. First the black woman had already singled me out and I was pointed out to her by that young guy because he saw me walk in and went running to both of them like a child to its mother. She deliberately crossed my path and say good morning but it was a part of her scam. Then Liz the other woman comes up to me by herself asking me to walk in the back with her to discuss the problem. Soon the black woman joins in after we walked in the back. I have to admit it was extremely a manipulating tactic stunt these two women pulled on me and this entire incident was about my behavior, not the employees reckless driving!!

After I explained what this kid did and the previous experience I had the day before from a reckless driver who nearly killed me and another driver, all Liz had to say with a patronizing attitude is maybe I should consider going to a "behavioral session", why? I am not the one who is causing the problem that employee did with his reckless driving. Liz wasn't concerned so much, she was more concerned of how I am not being respectful because that employee was complaining to her that I called him a foul name. She then handed me a book about rules for patients which I later threw in the trash. Well, he deserved it and frankly you two bitches are no better than he, if that is all you care about. He was OFF THE CLOCK, SO DON'T TELL ME ANYTHING ABOUT MY LANGUAGE. YOU NEED TO BE MORE CONCERNED WITH EMPLOYEE BEHAVIOR AND RECKLESS DRIVING WHEN USING A CELL PHONE BEFORE HE CAUSES DAMAGE TO A PATIENT WITH HIS CAR!!

The only concern here is ALTA MED IN WEST COVINA is protecting their interests against patients, but no one really cares about employees behavior and their irresponsible driving while on their cell phone towards patients coming into the lot. At this location there are no speed limits signs. At this location people are driving to fast into the parking lot and the lack of consciousness and consideration to other drivers. At this location employees are on their cell phones far too much during working hours and while driving into the parking lot. Which is something I brought up to Liz, of how I am confidant there are many employees obsessed with their phones when on the clock, she had no comment to that. I'm sure its true. I am now going public with this incident and Alta Med needs to more respectful to patients needs, and stop catering to the employee like he is some kind of child who needs direction because that young guy should be fired and anyone else who wants to speed into the lot while on their cell phone which I believe is illegal! Liz used the excuse I should call the police, what for? Cops do nothing unless they see the incident. Its amazing how Liz just kept making so many excuses for this kid and his irresponsible behavior. Her focus was all on me and my foul language and being disrespectful, but NOT ONCE DID SHE ASSURE ME OF THE LACK OF DISRESPECT THAT KID HAD AGAINST ME AND WHAT KIND OF PUNISHMENT HE'S GOING TO GET, MAYBE NONE BECAUSE SHE WASN'T THAT CONCERNED WITH ANY OF IT!!

As of June 2025, California's new “No Touch” Phone Law is officially in effect. California Vehicle Code 23123.5 strictly prohibits drivers from physically handling their phones while driving. 🚨 🚫 No Holding Allowed It is illegal to hold a phone while driving, whether or not it's in use.
